Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026
1. Acceptance
By downloading, accessing, or using Ripple ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of service
Ripple provides interval-based alarms and reminders on iOS and Android. Features may include local alarms, optional cloud sync (Pro), snooze, sounds, and notification-based alerts. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
3. Accounts
You may need an account to sync alarms or use Pro features. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
4. Subscriptions & billing
- Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play through RevenueCat.
- Pricing, renewal, and cancellation are governed by the store you purchased through. Manage or cancel in your device's subscription settings.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies — not directly by Ripple.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for unlawful purposes
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service
- Interfere with other users or our infrastructure
- Misrepresent your identity or abuse support channels
6. Alarms & critical use disclaimer
Ripple is designed to help you remember recurring tasks. It is not a medical device and is not intended for life-critical alerts (e.g. emergency medication where failure could cause harm). Alarm delivery depends on your device, OS settings, battery, Do Not Disturb, Focus modes, network conditions, and permissions you grant. We do not guarantee that any alarm will fire or be audible at a specific time.
7. Intellectual property
Ripple, its branding, design, and software are owned by Ripple and its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
8. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. You can close your account from Settings → Close account, which deletes your cloud alarms and history. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or if required by law.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ripple and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or missed reminders arising from use of the App.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Check this page for the latest version.
